Do I still own the right to the image?
Of course you own the right to your pictures. You can remove pictures from Hambedo at any time and we do not require any image exclusivity from you. We reserve the right, however, which also appears in the terms and conditions to be able to sell the image for another 12 months after you have chosen to remove it from Hambedo. We work with Ambassadors / decorators who market your pictures in picture walls and interior contexts and therefore we need a little longer notice time.
What are the technical requirements for an image file?
Our system accepts jpeg files with a minimum size of 3468px in either width or height. The maximum file size is 50MB.
Why won't my uploaded photos appear on Hambedo?
For the safety of all of us, the images must be sent to us for review before they can be approved. This can take up to 48 hours. It is also important that you fill in all the information about the image to make it easier to find for our customers.
How long does it take for you to approve my photos?
We are constantly working on reviewing images and you will receive an email as soon as the image has been approved. Our review usually takes place within 48 hours but in some cases may take a little longer.
How much is my commission?
Hambedo Artists can earn up to 20% of the sales price excluding VAT on your published pictures at Hambedo. The more art you sell, the more you earn. We sell your art in 20+ countries!

When do I receive my commission?
We pay commission every month, you need to have a valid F-tax proof registered and a registered PayPal account in the settings. The commission is exclusive of VAT and according to the self-invoicing method.
Where can I track my sales?
You can track your sales in the sales tab. All amounts are excluding VAT.
Why don't I get compensation for my image right away?
Customers have a 30-day return right on all posters and it is only when this period has passed without any return from the customer that the compensation becomes available to you. The compensation will then be paid at the next payment month.
Why do I sometimes receive lower and higher compensation?
We work with various forms of discounted campaigns to increase our sales and you receive a percentage commission on the actual sales price. We also sell your pictures in several different currencies and these may vary.
I can't upload my images?
There are compulsory fields that must be filled in for you to upload your image, we also have a limit of 15 images.
Why do I have to describe myself and my artwork?
Our customers love to read the story about you and that is an important part of selling your artwork. It is also important that you describe your art and the feeling that you want to convey to your customers. The more they know about your art, the more they will like them!
Rejected Posters
We reserve the right to freely choose which posters to publish on Hambedo. Below you can find various explanations for the disapproval of your posters. If you are unsure, do not hesitate to ask us at info@hambedo.com before uploading.
Blurry image
Your poster has not been approved because it is not sharp enough for printing in our large formats. Make sure you check the sharpness before uploading the image to Hambedo.
Unwanted noise
Your poster has not been approved because it contains unwanted noise. Images that are too noisy will not be as good when printed in our large format.
The image is too dark
Your poster has not been approved because it is too dark to print. Very dark images are difficult to print.
Offensive image
Your poster was not approved because it was considered offensive. We are very selective when it comes to publishing and selling posters that may be perceived as offensive and offensive by our customers or damage our brand
The poster contains one or more people
Your poster has not been approved because it depicts one or more people. We need a certificate from the person (s) approving their participation in the poster, as it may otherwise be a violation of their integrity.
Too many similar posters
Your poster has not been approved as there are many other similar designs at Hambedo. We want as varied a range of poster as possible.
Your art
Your poster has been rejected as we need a certificate from you or the artist certifying that you are authorized to sell this poster at Hambedo.
